About the Festival

The Delmont Apple 'n Arts Festival is an annual 2 day event, held the first full weekend in October, and is located at Shield's Farm in Delmont, PA. The festival is filled with fun for the entire family, featuring activities for kids of all ages, local craft vendors, great entertainment on the amphitheater stage, and more food than you can try in one day!

The festival is held in conjunction with the Fort Allen Antique Tractor Association, and a highlight of the festival is their fresh apple cider made from an antique cider press several varieties of apples are sold as well.

Daily tractor parade is held, with tractor pulls featured Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting).

Parking is available at Shields's Farm, or across the street at East View Cemetery.  All Parking is $7.00 per vehicle.

The Delmont Apple 'n Arts Festival is a non-profit organization, run by a 12 person volunteer committee. $10,000 in proceeds from the festival go back by donations to various civic organizations throughout the community of Delmont. We sincerely thank our sponsors each year for their contributions to help make this festival possible.

FAQs:
  • Commercial businesses and resellers are not accepted – all items must be handmade
  • Food vendors are by invitation only
  • Entertainment & bands are by invitation only
  • There is no fee to enter the festival. However, Parking is a $7-$10 donation that allows the festival to continue by covering expenses and benefits community organizations.

Helpful Tips:
  • Official on-site parking is located at Contact Place, Delmont, PA 15626.  This is right on the farm and proceeds support the festival and the community.  To access this area, please follow traffic on East Pittsburgh Street to the Main Shield’s Farm Entrance.
  • Additional Parking will be offered across the street from the Salvation Army on 326 E Pittsburgh St, Delmont, PA 15626. Follow signage.Shuttle busses will be available to shuttle you over to the festival every ten minutes. 
  • Parking proceeds go to community organizations such as: Delmont Library, Delmont Fire Department, Boy Scouts, Westmoreland Food Bank, and several other community organizations. Click here to see more.
  • Unofficial parking areas offered by local residents do not benefit the festival or community in any way.  Please help us keep the festival going by using one of our official parking areas.  Thank you for your help!
  • Festival is held on a large, grassy farm that gets muddy if it rains.
  • Wear boots and suitable shoes for uneven surfaces.
  • Most vendors are small business and prefer cash! There are two ATMs on site.  
  • Buy fresh apple cider! Gallons & Quarts  While Supplies Last. Please note: It is difficult to anticipate demand each year so there IS a possibility we MAY sell out. 
  • Sadly, no dogs allowed, except service dogs.
