One of the most integral parts of the Delmont Apple ‘n Arts Festival is the partnership with the Fort Allen Antique Farm Equipment Association.
Each October, Fort Allen shares their passion with festival attendees. There are live demonstrations, and antique tractors to view and of course, they operate the 1907 antique apple press – the only time of the year the press is active! This apple press produces some of the best apple cider you have ever tasted. People come from miles around to purchase this cider. Check out all Fort Allen has to offer at this year’s Delmont Apple ‘n Arts Festival. Wheat & Buckwheat flour & cornmeal will be ground on site and sold. Bags of apples will be sold in the apple barn. They'll also have demonstrations of working antique gas engines, balers, an operating saw mill, and the Ye Olde Shingle Mill. Proceeds from the apples, cider, flour, corn meal, raffle tickets, Apple butter and Rada Cutlery all support the Fort Allen Antique Equipment Association and their continued education of antique equipment.
